‘There is always a path through the forest….’

If you have been following my blog over the past year then you will know how much I love books, especially self-help related ones. You will also know that I am a huge Matt Haig fan and have loved every single one of his books. Reading them is good for the soul!
Here are my thoughts on ‘The Comfort Book’ which was recently gifted to me.

For anyone in search of hope or looking for some words of encouragement, I would highly recommend this book. Reading the book sparked so many different emotions in me. The way Matt Haig writes and describes his experience is so beautiful and relatable. He has quickly become my favourite author. What I love the most about this book is you can simply start anywhere you like, pick the book up and see which page it opens on. There is no order to follow and it is filled with beautiful stories, quotes and words of hope. It is a great book to dip in and out of when you need to.

A truly motivational and thought-provoking book I feel everyone should have on their bookshelf. Matt is truly inspiring and I admire how openly he talks about his mental health which encourages others to do the same.
The Comfort Book is everything you want in a book, it does not promise to fix your problems but rather offer hope and comfort which is something we all need from time to time.
